Color Image respects your privacy. This page explains what personal information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
Who we are
Color Image is an Australian owned print, signage, graphic design and website studio based at Officer, VIC 3809, Australia. You can reach us at mukesh@colorimage.com.au or on 0430 192 830.
What we collect
The only place this website collects personal information is the enquiry form on our contact page. When you submit it, we receive:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- The service you have selected
- Whatever you write in the message field
That submission is sent to us by email. We do not ask you to create an account, and account registration is switched off on this site. We do not collect payment details through this website.
Why we collect it
We use those details for one purpose: to understand what you need and to reply with a quote, a question or a timeline. If your enquiry becomes a job, we keep the correspondence so we have a record of what was agreed and what was produced.
We do not sell your information, and we do not pass it to anyone for marketing.
Artwork and files you send us
Artwork, logos and files you send us for a job stay yours. We hold them so we can produce your job and so we can reprint it later if you ask. We do not use your artwork in our own portfolio without asking you first.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not run analytics or advertising trackers. A caching system may set a technical cookie so pages load faster for you, and the contact form may set a cookie to help prevent spam submissions. Neither is used to build a profile of you.
Third parties
Two things on this site involve someone other than us:
- The map on our contact page is embedded from Google Maps. When that page loads, Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies. That is governed by Google’s own privacy policy, not ours.
- Our web host and email provider store the site and the enquiry emails on our behalf.
The typefaces on this site are served from our own server rather than a font network, so browsing the site does not send a request to a third party font host.
How long we keep it
Enquiry emails and job correspondence are kept for as long as we may reasonably need them, including for tax and business record keeping. If you would like your enquiry removed sooner, ask us and we will do it.
Security
This site is served over an encrypted connection. We take reasonable steps to protect the information we hold, though no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email mukesh@colorimage.com.au and we will respond.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, you can raise it with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes
If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and the date at the top of it.
